Drugs with a street value of over £10 million have been seized by Suffolk Police following an operation into the importation and supply of Class A drugs.
 
Searches, which began this morning, Tuesday 1 November, are continuing at business premises in Highbury Road, Brandon where the haul of Class A drugs has been discovered. 
 
This is an investigation being lead by Suffolk Police with the assistance of the UK Border Agency. 
 
Two 56-year-old men, one from Thetford and one from London were arrested last night, Monday 31 October, on suspicion of the importation of cocaine and possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply. They are both currently being questioned at the Bury Police Investigation Centre.
 
It is estimated that the drugs seized so far have a street value of in excess  £10m, the largest haul of Class A drugs ever recovered in the county.
